New hair and painting course

Hello !
Yesterday I dyed and cutted my hair again! I made sort of bangs.. and actually, bangs dont really suit me... but its okay haha. I can just comb them away or to the sides if i dont like it (:

I have the busiest schoolweek ever ! A total of 10 tests... thats a lot! Three more to go tomorrow... for one i still have to learn.. im starting after i posted this (:

Another nice thing: today i went to a painting course! Never did that before, but it was much fun and i also learrned a lot! It took long time, thats why i couldnt study for the test...(from 3 pm til 8 pm) . We made a painting about the city. The big, turbulent, chaotic city with all its drama :p pretty much fun. At first i was like OMG this is ugly. But in the end it turned out ok. Im not a big painter. But i really want to learn. And this helped (:

Soo... Today was over quick! I wanted to do my hair (dye) but I didn't had the time. I made homework.. and it took me soo long! And it was sooo booooring... And I didn't even do it all! However, I did cut my hair. It is such a undercut hairstyle.. the only thing that I miss.. is an undercut. LOL. Howeverrr... To make this not a too senseless post, I'll post something of a band I used to love much : ) LORDI! When I found out about them I was like.. 10 years old. And really big fan : ) For years I didnt really listen the music. But I found an album some days ago.. and today a friend of me send me a clip. So.. I'll just post a nice link of a nice song : )

Absense?

Yes yes,, I haven't been posting anything for over a month!
I was soo busy with school, partys, friends, and other things.
But I think I will post some things now.

A little update post ;)
Well I've been dying my hair several times.
I bleached it, and dyed it.
First black x magenta (purple/pink).
Then I went on holiday to AFRIKA ;D to the Gambia.
It was really awesome ; )
But my hair totally turned blond.
SO when I was back I dyed it shocking pink.
Now it's already faded.
So today I baught bleaching powder (I have brown outgrowth, yeeks!)
So Ill probably do that tomorrow..
But I have so much homework o_o
I was sick last week, no not last week, the week before that.
Now I have few tests to take.. that I couldn't take that week... suckzz.

Annyway, my boyfriend is having birthday in three days !
But Im going to him the next weekend ; )
Today I bought a gift!

And.. I am ashamed. I wanted to do halloween tutorials.. But I totally had NO TIME.
In my last posts I said I'd do a makeup tutorial, but it was really bad recorded..
So I probably not going to post it.
Im going to find something to post soon...

Good morning!

I´m going to make a little update/planning of my (busy) weekend. Yesterday, (friday) I was going out with some of my friends. And I did a video about the preparing of the makeup. It was quick, and I dont have any stack or anything to put my camera on, so I hope you can still see what Im doing instead of just seeying my boobs or chin all the time. I havent looked at it yet, I had to do it quick. So I hope it worked out fine. My camera is also not really good, so its not thát clear... And It doesn´t focuss when I show the products I use. Ill just put them beside or underneath.
I made it yesterday and probably going to put it on today.

-oh mai, my dad came in and red my blog. I was a bit embarassed...-

Ok.. ! Today I planned on dying my hair. But I needed my sister for that (to do/look at the back), but she disappeared?! Maybe she's still in bed.. I dont think so. I think she headed back to her new student home. Than I have to do it myself.. It's okay too. I want to make a video of that too, but at the moment my SD card is full. So I have to remove some stuff first.

And.. I planned on baking some brownies today ! : D Thats niceee <3
So its going to be a good day (:

Festival Fever

Good afternoon (:
I haven't been posting anything.. despite I said I would be posting more when school was starting, I didn't. School has start. This is the second week now. I have an excuse! I had homework. And I couldn't post in the weekends either, because I had two festivals going on the last two weekends!

The first one, Mosselrock. (Musselrock)

It's a festival in Sealand (not New Sealand.. Sealand is a place in the Netherlands). It's a rock festival, as you may have noticed reading the name of the fesitval. And why mussel? Because Sealand is famous of its 'mussels'... I had never been there before, but my boyfriend had, and he took me. It was much fun! Unfortunately (oh well.. actually I liked it) in the late evening it starded to storm. A huge storm with lightning and stuff! And just before Hell broke free, my boyfriend and I were safely and dry at home (: He "felt" it comming, he said. I dont have pictures of that festival! Unfortunately..Oh and, best band on the festival would surely be Bloodshift. Look them up, it's a beginning Dutch band. The members are supernice! We talked to the vocalist afterwards, and my boyfriend got beer and a guitarpick from the guitarist.

The second one, last weekend was Appelpop. (applepop).

It was my fourth time this year. The lineup wasn't that great, this year. But there were a few nice bands and two I really liked! These were Delain, who's also international famous, and now recording a new album in.. I think Sweden? Could be Denmark too... not sure. The guitarist was in my secondary school ; ) And the band I had never heard of before, and not sure if they're international, don't think so. Because the flyer said "regional band" is Nymeria. I think it's a deathmetal band, really liked this one! I have some pictures of this festival.. so here they are.

I'll be only posting one picture, because I noticed I only had pictures of me and my friends.. thats not thát interesting for you haha!

Little shopping trip with mom and sister (:

Today, my mom, sister and me went on a little shopping trip together. At first, we wanted to get bags for school (mine is 4 years old and damaged) and my sister is going to another school after she completed the actor school : ) and she now needs a bag to carry all her heavy books again. And she needed new shoes.
But ofcourse, we wouldn't be us if we only bought that! First we went to the Makro (wholesale) because they had schoolbags in sale. Unfortunately these weren't what we were looking for. But we did bought some candy and gum for a year ! ^^

Me at the parking spot again, with hot chocolat (the real one).. that was.. by the way, pretty disgusting. It tasted like water and not at choco at al.. After that we went to the center of the city, to shop a bit.Also bought a waffle with white chocolat and powdered sugar, because there was a funfair going on at the city : 3 There was also market, because it's friday. I'll show you what I bought.. (:

Recipe Apple pie à la Domaine de Lavergne

I made an apple pie the day before yesterday. And I said that I would post a recipe : ) (I guess I did.. anyway I planned to do) so here it is! I couldn't post it yesterday because I went to the Efteling : ) For those who don't know what that is, it's an amusement park (with rollercoasters and stuff) But also, the main thing what makes the Efteling different than a lot of other amusement parks in the Netherlands, is that it has a fairytale forest :3 It's actually more for the little ones, but I like it. Because it is the main thing of the Efteling and has always been the thing that made it different. And ofcourse, because when I was a kid, I went there with mom and dad (:
I'll post just two pictures of things from the Efteling and than I post the recipe for the apple pie!

Maybe not verry clear, but this is a (I saw, steampunk) 5-headed monster that is used in the new park show; Raveleijn. About an old medieval-like village who is in danger of the evil king and need to be saved by the 5 riders. I saw it for the first time (since its new) yesterday. And it was pretty good show! With horses, raven, owls, fire, water and spectacular music x)

This is the fairytale tree. He's also new in fairytale forest ;) it was already night here (it was open till 12 pm!) and this is just before the park was closed. He asks your name and age. And after that he asks you which tale you want to hear, and than he starts telling a little story. Its verry cute, cause you can see him speaking and it looks verry real!

Ok, now over to the Apple Pie à la Domaine de Lavergne.
(it's called like that, because it was originally made with honey and nuts from Domaine de Lavergne).

What you will need.

• one pack of mix for apple pie (or 300 grams selfrising flour)
• 175 grams of dairy butter
• 1 egg
• 6 big (sour) apples
• 3 ts (table-spoon) brown or white (caster)sugar.
• 2 teaspoon(!) cinnamon.
• 2 biscuits or dry cookies
• 5 (big) ts honey with nuts (if you cant get this, just mix honey with nuts you like)
• 3 ts raisins
• butter (to make the baking greasy)
• lemon (not necassary)

What to do.

1. First, peel the apples and cut them in little slices or cubes (how you like the most). To avoid them from turning brown, spray some lemon over it.
2. Pre-heaten the oven on 180 degrees.
   
3. Make the dough. Put the dough from the pack (or the flour) in a big bowl, with the butter, and the egg (3/4 of the egg) (first beaten !). Knead it together till its fully mixed.
4. Make the baking shape greasy with butter. And put 2/3 of the dough in the baking shape. Use the other 1/3 later for the crossed lines on top of the pie. (dont forget the sides).
5. On top of the dough, crumble the biscuits or cookies. Make it fill the whole shape. This is to avoid the pie gets too wet.
   
6. Mix the slices/cubes of apple with cinnamon and sugar and make the first layer of the pie.
7. On top of the first layer, you will put the honey with nuts. If its hard, warm it up a little bit so you can spread it gently. Now you can fill in the rest of it with apples.
8. Make little roles of the left dough and put it gently across each other on top. Use the 1/4 of the beaten egg and spray it over the top (so it wont burn).
9. The pie needs to be in the oven for about 70 minutes. After that you better let it cool down for an hour or so, before removing it from the baking shape.

I hope you could follow this a little bit since my English isn't that good! For questions, just response. And I hope you use the same measures as we doe (grams, degrees etc).

Apple pie and excuses

I know it has been such a long time since I wrote my last blog! What's the excuse? Well nothing actually. I have vacation so.. I have plenty of time! I didn't even go on holiday so that's no excuse. Well I was at my boyfriends a lot of the time, and in weekends he was usually here. So I couldn't blog then (we had enough things to do). And I had some birthday partys of friends, that come with the "before-fun" as, shopping presents, getting dressed and doing makeup half of the day. But still, in between I had plenty of time. I just didn't had enough interesting things to write about! And I was lazy most of the time. So, here's a quick update of what had happened this vacation.
Yesterday was the birthday party of one of my best girl friends : ) In the morning I went to the fitness center with another good friend of me, than I did some swimming. And at 3 am me and that girl friend went to the birthday girl to help her with the party. She had a huge BBQ planned, with over 25 invited guests!
After helping with the salads and decoration it was time for makeup. I had my party outfit already on for that day. Shame I didn't make any pictures, so here's a little list of what I wore.
Black shorts, Alchemy Gothic top, sleeves with lace (for the evening), lace panty, high dr Martens, lace gloves, and necklaces/rings.
The friend with who I camed to the party had (unplanned!) almost the same outfit, with the black shorts, top and high shoes! A bit.. embarrasing. However it was totally different. She had pinstripe shorts, a plain panty, Demonia shoes, and a little jacket. And besides, we absolutely don't look like each other. But it was rather strange because we both rarely wear shorts.
However the party was nice, I met some new people, inlcuding the new girlfriend of my ex boyfriend. She is super friendly and matches him so much better than I ! haha. My boyfriend unfortunattely couldn't make it because of his work :c
A week ago I also had a party of another friend of me, which luckily my sweet boyfriend could join! : D It was also a verry nice party, and one of my girl friends got a bit too drunk and puked, lol! She was rather happy because she had never puked after drinking alcohol, and never puked since she was 7 ! Good job ;')

Today I woke up late, but I had this amasing dream! It included people from my elementary school and secondary school. We were going to HOGWARTS! to be new students. And there we played a game of 'Quiddich', well actually it was just baseball, but in my dreams it was called Quiddich. And I was super sportive and won! And I dont win anything with sports normally, so that was rather weird, but cool. Hogwarts was in Norway, btw (its in Scotland actually, but we were in Norway). And we went with school pass a lot of old (medieval like) Norse villages, with citizen who looked like they came straight out of World of Warcraft. I was dressed like an elf, and my friends were dressed like characters from Lord of the Rings (cosplay I guess?) and we ran through the beautifull Norse woods with the sun shining throughout the trees. And I felt so happy! After that we came by a cave, with an Azteken (Pirates of the Caribbean?) treasure! Which we couldn't touch, or the cave would collapse. It was such a nice and weird dream, involving my three most beloved movies, in one of my favorite countries, and a lot of old friends. After I woke up, I was thinking about it for an hour I guess, thats how awesome it was!

Hoever, after I told my whole dream to my mom (lol) we made an apple pie together! For my sisters return. She was on holiday with a friend for a week, and we decided to make an apple pie for her (and ourselves ofcourse ;)) It was a special apple pie. "Apple pie à la Domaine de Lavergne". It includes nuts and honey. I wanted to make a picture of it to post it here, but I forgot. And you may not open the oven before it's 'done'. I dont want to ruin it! So I'll post that later this evening, with the recipe ; ) ! So.. stay tuned??

Dyeing hair to black/magenta (video)

I know that I am 5 days late... But! I have an excuse ! My boyfriend came earlier and because of that I simply didn't have the time. Our schedule was pretty busy. Oh and friday we went to the theater and saw Harry Potter, The Deadly Hallows part 2 ! It was in 3d, and so awesome (: Even for me, who thinks 3d isn't that much of an improvement in non-animated movies... But it was epic! I'm not going to tell anything.. but I suppose the die-hard Harry Potter fans already saw the movie in theater, non ;) ?
Well, sathurday me and my boyfriend were invited to a graduation party of two of our friends. And I haven't drunk one alcoholic drink! Not on purpose.. don't think I'm going Straight Edge or anything like that xD I simple didn't felt I wanted.. But however it was a nice party (:

Now.. over to the hairdye-day! Its been a while.. actually the magenta in my hair is fading already xD But I'm showing you anyway. I think I should make a little movie out of it? Or just post the pictures. Lets see if I have enough pictures to make a little video.

Random things and Graspop buy-outs.

I know I dont post verry often.. But I am so busy! This post is about some stuff I bought at Graspop Metal Meeting. I took the pictures weeks ago but had no time/forgot to put them online. So here you go anyways! Better late than never ; )


As you can see, this is my pulse. Currently I have only three festival straps (?) (I lost one). The last onde (lowest) is from Graspop MM.This are things I bought at GMM. The shirt ofcourse, with the names ; ) My boyfriend bought that for me :3 even its way too big.. I sleep in it (: The Amon Amarth beanie, and album.

These are the autographs I got, of Moonspell (+a sticker), Anvil, GWAR, A day to remember!

Even if its like summer holiday in the Netherlands.. the weather is shit! Its raining the whole day.. as you can see.. my makeup doesn't like that. (But I do, because its actually looks pretty cool ;) )

Sooo... a little while ago my hairdresser cut my hair. And this picture isnt quiet good.. but you can see, its a little shorter now (my hair was dead apparently) and I have sort of bangs. Didnt ask for it.. but I can live with it !

And wouldn't it be cool to have my whole skin this collor? I tried it.. painted my finger turqoise and my nail black.. and it looked awesome! You'll have to agree!

So as I said, tomorrow there will be a blog about me and my boy dying our hair. And I have a tiny little secret.. I'm planning on making a make-up tutorial series! About what? Not telling you yet... But it'll be monsterlicious ; )

Graspop Metal Meeting

Hello y'all!

Its been too long since Ive posted anything. The reason for that is simple: I was way too busy. But now its holiday/vacation, finally! Well, what I'm going to talk about is this; Graspop Metal Meeting, the metal festival I went to some weeks ago in Belgium. I know its a bit late, but I couldn find the time to do it yet!

June 24 was the day it begun. I had two exams that day, so first I went to school. When I finally arrived on the festival KoRn was already playing! I really realllyyyy loove KoRn, so I was pretty upset I was too late for them. I had some issues with the tickets too, and had to pie xD so when I finally arrived on the festival area, KoRn was already finished :c. But that wouldn't screw up my weekend! Luckily there were other awesome bands I saw. On friday: Epica, Volbeat, Iced Eart and the Scorpions for example. On saturday; Lacuna Coil, Black Label Society, Channel Zero, Whitesnake, Judas Priest, Cradle of Filth, Arch Enemy, Moonspell, Bullet for my Valentine and on sunday; Anvil, Kreator, Mastodon, Avenged Sevenfold, Amorphis, Legion of the Damned, Opeth, Gwar, Rob Zombie and Slipknot! Pretty awesome weekend, I can say ;)

I was almost on stage with Rob Zombie! I stood pretty close to the racks (and the stage) and Rob asked the girls to come on stage and party with him. Unfortunately I was too late :c But it would have been cool no?

I went with my boyfriend and met some friends of him I didnt met earlier (: it was so much fun n_n I bought a festival shirt (well, my boyfriend bought it for me) and even its way too big its cute no? I bought an Amon Amarth beanie (first day it was cold!) and the new album of Amon Amarth with live dvd and stuff ; ) I have some pictures I will post:

Quick update

I'm so busy !
Next week is the last week of the term, and this school' year.
I have exams. And i'm learning right now!
But this week was sooo hard and busy and arrgh!
I had to make in total 8 (!) reports/statements, and two aren't even finished yet (not yet begun but ok) And if thats not all, I had normal homework, and had to study for my examens. This weekend I have no time at all. I'm going to a festival! Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium :D
I'm so excited but.. when will I do my homework ... ? ;o
I guess not.. or on my way in the train lol !
I'm going back to my books now.. tomorrow two examens and haven't had the time to study this week.. so it all comes to one day: today.
And I still haven't recieved my GMM ticket.. and the festival begins TOMORROW!
I'm going to call ticket service.. soon.. today.. after learning the first chapter.
I guess.

Hello Beauties :'d

Today I bought some awesome things. First this top from Poizen Industries. I like it because it's wearable, feminine and has this 'corset' like touch, with the lints. And because it has leopard print! And I have a weakness for leopard print I guess xd

And today I bought my Graspop Metal Meeting tickets! Finally! I just had to do it this week, because the fesitval is next week ! Gonna be great : )

Berlin gifts from my sista!

Today my sister returned after a three weeks school trip to Berlin. This year she finished her actor study. She went to Berlin with her class to learn from a lot of art studies there. Me and my dad just came home from the train station to pick her up. And look what she brought! Three beatifull gifts for me and gifts for my parents! She's such a sweety (:

I got this! First a verry cool -well suiting- black skinny jeans with fuschia lace from Criminal Damage.

Then this super cool belt with skulls al-over it and a verry cool skull buckle.

Essence Holografics Nailpolish

Hello (: A review of 2 of the 5 essence Holografic nailpolishes today!
The five new collors essence comes up with are: 01 gagalectric, 02 lil@c, 03 blue ray, 04 prism@tic white and 05 holoberry. At my shop there were only three available, 01, 02 and 03. Don't know why. I buyed Gagalectric and Blue ray. Gagalectric is a purplelish/lila nailpolish with light blue accents when it comes into light. Blue ray is actually quit the same, only in a darker version. Gagalectric is also more purple than blue, and Blue ray is more blue than purple ;) The special effect on this nailpolish would be, that the collors change lightly when light shines on them. All polishes comes in little bottle (flacon, little glass?) with 10 ml. Verry cheap, about 2 euros I think? No it was less. Don't know it anymore, only €1,80 ? But they're actually pretty good. They stay on verry good. But they are pretty hard to get off. Normally I just need one whipe with my remover but this time I really had to rub it! The only thing is, that the collors don't come out exactly as they look in the bottle. Gagalectric does, when you put on more than one/two layers. But Blue ray is much more blue on the nails than it is inside the bottle. There it looks much more purple! Time for photos (:

Girl behind the blog

Well in this post I'm just going to introduce myself!
My name is Dominique, I'm a 16 year old girl from the Netherlands. English isn't my first language, as you may notice. But i'm trying my best ;). Im at school. And Im verry buisy with it. Because of that I wont be able to do daily posts. I like alternative clothes, make up and hairstyles, ofcourse. That why I made this blog in the first place, haha. But Im also posting things about my life. And my life is not only about clothes. Not at all actually. School is taking a lot of my time! Next tot that I play bassguitar in my band called Offheaded. I will post some of that maybe later on (: And I play the violin. I dance once a week, and go to sportschool/gym. I love hanging out with friends, unfortunately I dont have much time for that. One of my biggest hobbies is going to festivals, concerts and fairs. Festivals and concerts of metal bands. Because Im a big metal lover. Especially nu-metal and folk/pagan. And fairs, gothic and fantasy fairs. Really love it. Making costumes and dress up and stuff! I love history, its my favourite subject in school ;) I love teutons, saxony, vikings and celts. I dont know if I spell this ok, google translate says this xD I mean the nation/folk. I love bodymods too. My favourite countries are Finland, Germany, Norway, Scotland and Ireland. My fav movies are The Lord of the Rings -by far. And other fantasy historical related movies. Pirates of the Caribbean, Four musketiers, Braveheart, Troy, Gladiator etc. I guess thats enough about me ? :'D

As you can see, this is a verry new blog. I just made it. Why? Because I'm interested in a lot of things I'm reading blogs about, so I thought I could do that too ;) In this blog I will post random stuff but also things with music, make-up, hair, clothes and other stuff. All in an 'alternative' genre. With alternative I mean a bit of gothic, punk, metal and a bit of fantasy. I'm an 'alternative' person myself. I should describe my style as a mix of goth, metal and a bit of punk. But its hard to describe, because I have different clothes and like different music genres.
I'll try to keep my blog a bit interesting, and hope many followers will follow :'D Stay humanistic ;)
